SERVUS & Welcome HOME

WELCOME HOME....

SERVUS (Hello) & come on in......

"Servus" is a casual greeting commonly used in Austria and southern Germany. It is equivalent to saying "hello" or "hi" and can also be used to say  "goodbye".

I believe HOME is where you curate all of life's joys and comforts, reflecting your  personal journey.

That's why I always love to combine old and new elements in my home design which adds unique character and charm, blending timeless pieces with modern touches for a personalized style.

LOFT feeling.....

Introducing my "deer" friend RUDY......

To be continued......

While living in Switzerland, I bought an old scale from a local farmer. It is not just a practical item, but a cherished reminder of the beautiful Swiss countryside and the years I lived there.

I'm a candle lover at heart. There's a quiet comfort in flicker of a flame - like a whisper that says, 'you are HOME', even when you're miles away. Candlelight has a way of turning any space into something warm, familiar, and full of peace....my comfort zone.

I created this piece using 5mm plate steel, incorporating birch tree branches I saved from the yard of my childhood home before it was sold. Birch trees have always been my favorite, so it felt meaningful to preserve a piece of that memory in my art work.

My E15 oak shelf holds a special place in my heart. I enjoy giving it a fresh look with every season, and my Eames bird always finds a perfect spot - it's the little details that make it unique.

Whenever I travel, I always bring along a candle or two from my Scent Kit. There is something about the familiar fragrance and the cozy ambiance they create help me feel like HOME, no matter where I am. It's like bringing a piece of my comfort zone with me. My go-to candles are from CALYAN Wax, a Texas based company I absolutely love.

The fire flickers softly in the cool evening air, and a glass of wine rests on the table, untouched for now, as I sit back and just take it all in. It's one of those rare moments where everything slows down. No rush, no stress - just the fire, and the simple joy of being present. Life's good, just like this.

I love using fresh lavender, rosemary, and thyme from my garden to decorate. Their rich green hues add a beautiful, natural touch to any room, and the scent they release is incredible. Lavender gently infuses the air with soft, tranquil notes. Rosemary brings a warm, woody aroma, while thyme offers a delicate, herbaceous fragrance that fills the space with a calming, earthy vibe. It's the perfect combination of aesthetics and scent, making the room feel inviting and cozy

There is a spot in my yard where nothing ever seems to grow, so I turned it into a cozy little corner instead - a small bistro table with two chairs, soft pillows, lanterns, a flower tucked into a water pitcher, and an old wooden crate for a touch of rustic charm. Funny how the place that once felt empty now feels the most inviting.
